Here’s an easy recipe for chocolate chip cookies:

    Ingredients:
    – 1 cup of softened butter
    – 1 cup of granulated sugar
    – 1 cup of packed brown sugar
    – 2 large eggs
    – 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    – 3 cups of all-purpose flour
    – 1 teaspoon of baking soda
    – 1/2 teaspoon of salt
    – 2 cups of chocolate chips

    Instructions:
    1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

    3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

    4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, mixing well to form a dough.

    5. Fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

    6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

    7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.

    8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

    9. Serve and enjoy your homemade chocolate chip cookies!
